When is it best to buy a Stairlift Versus Renting a Stairlift
We see the Stairlift rental option as being the best option for customers who
need a stairlift for a short period of time. With this in mind there is no
minimum Stairlift rental period. The stairlift may be rented for as little or as
long a period needed. If the stairlift is needed for more than 12 months it may
be feasible to buy a stairlift as this could be the cheaper option
Stairlift rentals are only offered on straight stairlifts. The price for a
rental stairlift is £600 for preparation, installation, maintenance and removal
of the stairlift after use. The rental fee is then £10 per week. Each rental
stairlift includes 24 hour breakdown assistance.

needs. However our surveyor will advise you at survey stage on the best
stairlift to meet your individual needs.
Reconditioned and Rental Stairlifts
The table below shows which stairlifts are available as reconditioned stairlifts
and rental stairlifts.
Once the correct stairlift has been chosen for you, you can be
confident that your lift is covered by our excellent 12 month warranty and our
24 hour call national callout facility. And as with all our stairlifts we offer
a buy back option when you no longer need the lift.

Should you buy a new or reconditioned stairlift? Gone are the
days when used stairlifts meant old models and poor designs! Reconditioned
stairlifts are almost as good as new stairlifts, so here is where the difference

More curved stairlifts models are available as new.
More specific options are available to customize new
stairlifts.
Reconditioned stairlifts are cheaper than new stairlifts.
